A session with the W family is always filled with laughs and lots of catching up. I think the kids are laughing at me most of the time but that’s ok. 🙂
Can’t tell from these faces but it was a super cold morning when we did these portraits. With a little help from “sandy/candy,” the boys found great motivation to show me their smiles. 🙂

This portrait session took place in the middle of a serious nerf gun war. There were teams, and flags, and lots of boys running around everywhere! In that chaotic and (distracting!) environment, we still managed to get some beautiful portraits as we hid in our little corner of the park. 🙂

The L Family was way overdue for a portrait session. It’s been over 4 years since I last photographed their family and that was before Baby J was born! She definitely added a new level of excitement and fun to the photo shoot with her expressions!

I had a hard time narrowing my favorites from the R Family’s holiday session. Although we started out with Little R being a bit shy, we ended up with some gorgeous images showing the family’s connection with each other. I know most people want the traditional image where everyone is looking at the camera with a smile on their face (and this family has beautiful smiles!) but the images I treasure most are the ones where the camera seems to disappear and the family interaction, the love, and silliness all radiate from the image.
